Brilliant architecture involved.
- Firstly, the glass panels used in the buildings deflect sunlight, and this is important because the west-side of the building face intense sunlight. By doing so, it also reduces the heat of the hotel rooms by 20%.
- The two side buildings curves by 5 degrees.
- Backspans, weighing 700 tons each, hold the cantilever (observation deck) in place and prevent it from falling.
- All buildings, bridges, cantilevers, structures in general have slight natural frequencies. When the people standing on it moves, or when wind blows, and this movement align with the natural frequency of the building, they can combine and shake a building. When engineers design buildings, they have to be concerned with how many people are moving.
* Engineers have alots of songs in their ipod, and they research on their frequencies, so they can know which dance can be danced on the building.
- 3900 people can be on it, but only 900 can be on the cantilever (observatory)
